What business achievement are you most proud of?
I am very proud of a number of things we do here at the club, including our reputation as one of the premier golf facilities in Ontario, but the last few years I am really proud of our Junior Golf Program. We have over 130 young men and women that are learning to love the great game of golf.

What is one interesting fact about yourself that not many people would know?
That my dad was the caddy for Larry Mize when he won the 1987 Masters….the miracle chip in!

Where do you go/what do you do to unwind?
Nothing better than spending time with my beautiful family. My wife Tara, my son Jaxon, my daughter Devyn and our faithful, yet disobedient black lab Dexter. Spending time with them is the BEST!

What three words would you use to describe Pelham?
Small town charm ..That’s more like a three word saying but you get the point

What is your favourite part about running a business in Pelham?
I love getting to know the people in the community. It is wonderful to stop at local shops and know peoples names.

What business achievement are you most proud of?
Building a niche service where the majority of custom jewellery design and repairs are done on premises. People love that their jewellery and heirlooms are not being couriered out of town to be worked on by a third party.

What is one interesting fact about yourself that not many people would know?

A lot of people who first meet me do not realize how old and experienced I am. I’ve been goldsmithing and custom designing jewellery for over 25 years … and have had my retail location in Fonthill since 1988.

Where do you go/what do you do to unwind?

I love to go to the park with my sons on our bikes. I especially love to go to the cottage with my family boating, swimming and fishing.

Friendly, peaceful, community

What is your favourite part about running a business in Pelham?
How happy my customers are when they pick up their beautiful jewellery that we worked together on designing just for them … as for repairs, the surprise at how new their jewellery looks.

What business achievement are you most proud of?
We are most proud of going from a home based business to opening our first storefront this past November.

What is one interesting fact about yourself that not many people would know?
Many people may not know that Chelsey and Jenna both worked full time jobs for the first two years while of running Designer Delights.

Chelsey worked as a Special Events Coordinator for a number of non-profit organizations and Jenna worked a colour technician at Lavo Salon.

Where do you go/what do you do to unwind?
Chelsey likes to unwind at the gym, where she specifically enjoys spinning classes. She also likes to relax with no-whip mocha from Starbucks.

Jenna turns to art to unwind as she has always been a creative person and also enjoys curling up with a good book!

The residents and fellow business owners.

Continuing a third generation buinsess with the addition of our Financiual Services division.

Not including University, I have lived in eight different places. My ninth is Ridgeville.

I like to go camping, espcially in Algonquin Park.

I am actually a Librarian and research analyst.

I love to entertain! To unwind, I have a pile of friends over, cook everything in the house and raid the wine cellar. That’s a good time!

Since Pelham is a small community, a business owner is rewarded for a job well done with referrals and appreciation. Just the way it should be.
